Reservation Policies

• For week-long reservations a nonrefundable $300 (per cabin) check or cash deposit is required within five mailing days from the initial reservation. Cabins will not be held without received payment of the full deposit. The outstanding reservation balance is due before or upon arrival.
• Cancellation of a reservation must be made four weeks before check-in time. Guests cancelling after this time will be charged the full weekly rate.
• Reservations are made on a weekly basis. Rental rates vary accordingly. See the “cabins” page for current rate information. Nightly rates may be available upon request. Please note, there is a weekly docking fee of $45 per boat. 
• Check-in time for weekly rentals is on Saturdays, 3-5pm. Checkout time is on Saturdays, 10am. Guests are expected to comply with simple check-out policies as articulated in the cabin guestbooks.
• Guests arriving after check-in time will be charged the full weekly rate. 
• Guests will incur additional fees for damage upon checkout. Consult guestbook for more information.
• Dogs are welcome on a case-by-case basis, as determined by Shady Shore management. No dogs may be brought to the resort property without prior consent. Owners are required to provide current immunization paperwork. Guests may not leave pets unattended. $150/week rate applies per dog. Any damages to property resulting from pets will be assessed and billed accordingly. 
• All cabins are smoke free.
